such an underrated album -and at the same time it has the most "singles" out of it-. i think is strange how this album creates a whole story you only fully understand when you listen fetch the bolt cutters. the rest of the album are about other things. but ftbc-tidal are linked in a way i can't explain

Very good album, even better as a debut. Tbh, I kind of tune out during the more lounge/jazz-influenced songs (i.e. "Slow Like Honey," "The First Taste," etc.), but it's still really solid overall. It's interesting how Fiona's sound started out very hi-fi and then got less polished over the years; usually, it's the other way around. I think the change was good for her overall, although Tidal is still excellent.
