Probably one of the darkest albums i've ever listened to that dosen't rely on blasting and constant screaming to convey it's deep dark messages. One of my favourite albums of all time! Anyone know of any bands/ artists similiar to this album?

This album is under-appreciated because they took a detour and broke through in their creativity. The ones writing it off are the sames ones who got attached to the one-dimensional style of the previous album - they couldn't handle the altered nuances.

Forgot how awesome this album is. I always thought it was mostly hated because it was way more interesting than WIITB and the scene kiddies didn't get it. Very Patton influenced in the best possible way.

I prefer What It Is To Burn. This is a great album, but I would cut few songs out - Fireflies, Hopeless Host, and A Man Alone. Gak 2 from the UK release should be on all versions.

This came out the same year as Thrice's 'Vheissu'. I like to think of the two albums as the musical representations of a good and a bad mushroom trip.

Anyone who would rather listen to "Letters to you" probably needs to do some cleaning inside their ears. Not dissing, but this stuff is way ahead of that album.
