Actually you're the who's stupid if you think something's wrong with picking up simple 3 chord stuff like Fifteen by ear is a mistake. So kindly STFU, you obviously don't know what you're talking about.
best albums are (for me) (1) Lucky (2) Survivor (3) Buzz (4) Surprise (5) The Choice Of A New Generation (6) Allegra (7) There's No Place Like Home (8) Swain's First Bike Ride.............I enjoy all of them a lot though, with the exception of their first album, Swain's, I don't really like that one all too much, a few songs, but they had a lot of growing to do as a band. I think Lucky is their most solid album by far, and a classic honest punk cd.
on a scale of one to ten i give fifteen...a fifteen. they've got great lyrics that actually say something. an awesome raw, unpolished sound full of that hearty down-home genuine feeling we used to call sincerity. good shit.
too bad you can't be fifteen forever.
too bad they disbanded.
vegeabuse: he's always annoying when he preaches, but i let that slide because ive been listening to fifteen since i was like 13 and jeff ott was like my idol during my formative years. now of course, my idol is christopher walken but i still listen to fifteen.
