There are three artists using the name envelope.
1) Envelope is a Danish rock band, playing melodic alternative rock with singer and song-writer Christoffer Høyer's voice in centrum. Debut album "Stay" i 2001. A follow-up album, "Open Window", was finished in 2007, but as yet (June 07) not released.

2) Envelope make abstract electronic music without beats.
3) Envelope is an MC from Columbus, Ohio on Weightless Recordings. His second full length album, "Shark Bolt" was released on July 8, 2008.
4) Envelope is 21 year old Tim Matthews from Oxford, UK. He writes ambient electronic music with chilled out beats and emotive elements. His first EP 'Envelope EP' was released 27th June 2009 on Geometric Records.
