i can make it to farewell, which i love but death by fire just has more strong tracks and the songwriting isnt as disjointed. the tracks on from beyond there are a bunch of really simple straightforward ones and then about 3 or 4 tracks that toe the line of progressive heavy metal. its just very uneven. death by fire is very well balanced throughout every song and the entire album
I like Death by Fire and it is in my play list, it just isn't my goto Enforcer album. The first time I heard From Beyond I wasn't so hot on it but the more I played it the more I caught different pieces of musical genius that I missed on the previous listen. For example notice the subtle disco drumming during the title track From Beyond? Genius. The way Mask of Red Death keeps adding layers to the song to a brilliant crescendo in the end. The track that took me the longest to warm up to was Banshee, those first few listens I just couldn't get into the initial 30 seconds but I left the album in my car and played it straight through and after a few more plays I really started to get into that song. So if anyone isn't immediately into every song on that album after a listen or two I get it but stick with it it's a brilliant well written album and I love the flow from track to track, it just all works so well together,
Apart from the obviously fake audience sounds, which is especially evident when watching the DVD. Unnatural audience cheering in weird timings with the music and way too big/loud cheering for that audience. That was pretty lame and annoying once noticing, otherwise I also think the live recording sounded great (though it sounds far better than what they did when I saw them live. Maybe they polished it up a lot in the studio).

Enforcer - Destroyer (Live in Guarabira, Brazil, March 2016) - From Beyond Tour
Presentation in which featured an impromptu, the fact that vocalist/guitarist OLOF WIKSTRAND had to change the vocal position with guitarist JOSEPH THOLL. Due to health issues, he was unable to sing and even to speak well. Olof was with his swollen throat and he was roco almost voiceless, and as they said, they would not want to cancel the gig so that was the solution found for them to the gig could happen without much damage to the fans and the audience in general.

Maybe, but who can blame them to put a slight sense of home in their songs. Other artists disguise just as little about their roots. No need to faint. Who really like music that can deal with it. Have fun anyway. :)
@versionfiv I don't agree at all. They still sound very much like Enforcer to me, though they sound very evolved from their signature sound. I don't hear any Maiden vibe whatsoever, but I would say that the new EP sounds very typical "Swedish". I can certainly hear that old 70's and early 80's vibe of ABBA and other Swedish music acts in their new tracks. Any Swede would understand what I mean, haha.
I didn't like the new ep tracks at all, no enforcer behind them. i hope that is just a one-off and not indicative of a new direction the band is taking. they sounded like iron maiden dickinson tribute band tracks with no soul or flavor of their own.
i don't like this band and i'm right because of freewill http://www.lastfm.de/music/Rush/_/Freewill?ac=rush%20free and if therefore you hate me, that's ok with me, i don't care about you http://www.lastfm.de/music/Dark+Angel/_/I+Don%27t+Care+About+You
