Emitremmus (June 15, 1984) is an Italian musician.

While not has a preferred style, the music composed by Emitremmus can be mainly categorized as "electronic listening", once to the exploration and experimentation of different musical styles, among which we find Chillout, New Age, Electronic Music and Dark Ambient.

The ability to build a universe of sounds, abstract concepts and easy listening music led him to interpret, in a style quite intimate, the modern music.

His debut was in November 2005 when he released his first album "Step By Step", an album featured by a serene atmosphere with some dark shades which were showing at once his great openness of mind prone to particular music, a change of style that would come later in time.

In the fall of 2008, ending his latest musical work, "Nuclearization - Voyage In The Post Atomic Unknown", a dark ambient album, characterized by strong, deep and distorted sounds in order to recreate suggestively a journey through the post-atomic tragedies that the man is forced to face and endure. "Nuclearization", which had a gestation of time and work lasted more than a year, was released across the midnight of 11th and 12th October, always for free in MP3 digital audio format.

"Nuclearization" was conceived as a tribute album to Mark Morgan, a great inspiration for Emitremmus, and the Fallout series. The release is occurred only few days before that the third episode of the series, developed by Bethesda Software, was released.

A great inspiration for this work were also the dark atmosphere of STALKER, another videogame developed by GSC Games World. For this the composer has dedicated the album to the victims of nuclear tragedies, especially those which occurred in April 1986 in Chernobyl, Ukraine.

After two years of silence, Emitremmus is back with a new dark ambient album that follows the footsteps started with "Nuclearization," taking again the voyage where it was previously interrupted. “Quarantined”, composed in these two years, is released on the 21th November 2010. The album, designed and composed for a survival horror browser game (, has seen a massive commitment of the author not only in the composition and post-production phase, but also in the planning of its official launch event and in its promotion.

“Quarantined”, that in addition to the dark ambient touches sci-fi atmosphere and various genres as electronic and industrial, is been released in two version (Standard Edition e US Edition), both with different graphics and some different bonus tracks.
Compared to "Nuclearization", as specified by the composer, there has been a particularly focus to encouraging shocking and sad feelings in listeners.
Like the previous album, "Quarantined" was heavily inspired by games like Left For Dead, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. - Call of Pripyat, 28 Days Later and by the tragedy of Chernobyl, a subject that is very sensitive to Emitremmus.
To emphasize his sensitivity and remember the victims, Emitremmus performed a cover of the famous Dirge Of The Planet, track originally composed by the Ukrainian band Firelake contained in the Standard version of the album.
