How Deep is Too Deep

Goulding speaks of a toxic relationship where she is given the ‘hot and cold’ treatment and feels very strongly that she’s being used to fulfil this man’s need for sex, control and power.

She feels as though she is expected to be perfect to remain in her position and that she’s replaceable. Goulding recognises this is not what she deserves and isn’t healthy but the dynamic of the relationship leaves her questioning how much love she should expect and give in a relationship.
