"There are so many good Folk Metal bands that nobody knows. :/ " but 4,000+ do. I say that is something not nothing. Thats quite a crowd. That fits brixton...odeon and apollo....if the band had uner 50 then that be a band that was unknown.
Their new album Igéret (Promise) is going to be released in february.
Howewer a song from this album (Hozd el Isten) apeared on youtube. It is awesome! Here is the link:
I saw that some people would like them to sing in English. It would be very sad if they will do that. Their music has influences of Hungarian folk music and melodies. Many of their lyrics are taken from folksongs. Others are from important Hungarian poets like Arany János, and others tell us about our history, historical figures, our victories and defeats. With this, they make for Hungarians to feel proud and to look with hope to the future. So, it would be very sad if we have to hear our history singed in English. I think that the beauty of their music is augmented by the fact that they sing in Hungarian, because it is one of the most beautifull languages in the World. If they would sing in English, that would make them another band who selled its soul to globalization and finally they will blend in the ocean of English-singing but not English originated bands. I hope that they will not do that. But it would be ok, if they translate their lyrics for those who want to read them.
I've heard you on Paganfest in Budapest, you were really good. Didn't expect such quality from an opening band. :)
+ question - are there any translations of your lyrics 'cause i'd like to know what are you actually singing about :)
