Biography

Dystert Sind is the main project of Eija Risen, started in 2015 upon the ashes of Phantom Mistress, Mealann, Risen v0id, Anfea Eutua, Broken Backbone, Lucifer Effect and Eintritt, which at that point started to resemble each other. They have been finished by compiling their discographies into numerous box sets between 2016 and 2018.

Over the course of first three years several albums were written but none of them was released due to inabilities to deliver guitars and vocals, as well as satisfying graphical designs. The project will be officially launched when first album "A Trip to the Moon" meets all desired standards and most of the previous material is definitely released.

The project fuses various genres to the extent it is unlikely to assign a single label to the sound other than Dystert Sind itself. Notable influences include Linkin Park, Dope, Rammstein (alternative metal), Venetian Snares, Psyclon Nine, Die Sektor (electronic), Raventale, Draconian (doom metal), Anaal Nathrakh, Lunar Aurora, ColdWorld (black metal), Pięć Dwa Dębiec, Fort Minor, Vinnie Paz (hip-hop), Katai Tamas, Sieghetnar, Mihaly Vig (ambient / neoclassical).
