„Drop bombs to lose“ - that's the title of the fourth studio-album from Dr. Woggle and the Radio, released in 2018. And it arrives around with a big bang. Working with producer Michael Vajna (Malky/Sony Music) caused a unique sound to emerge: soft strings, fat bass and rich beats - packaged into 14 masterpieces. Listeners unwrap a melange of Ska and Rocksteady, seasoned with a pinch of warm Soul and salted with a sea breeze of Reggae.
The doctors have loosened their woggles, playing Reggae free from its musical straitjacket, uniting Soul, Ska and Pop in a catchy way. We can see the evolution of style, incorporating band members experiences & influences from home and abroad, including a number of political tracks like “Trouble”, “America”, “Drop bombs to lose” or “Procrasti Nation”. Frontman, Nikolaus Weinheim’s soulful voice ensures this inimitable Indie-Reggae remains in the ears of the listeners for a long time.
