Downset is an American hardcore/crossover band from Los Angeles, California, formed in 1986. The band's original name was Social Justice. Their music blends influences from hip-hop, funk, and heavy metal with socially conscious lyrics. They headlined the second stage at Ozzfest 1997 and have since gone on to tour all across the world.
