Dexter Wansel (born Dexter Gilman Wansel on 22 August 1950; died 31 May 2026) was an American R&B/jazz fusion artist, singer, arranger, musician, composer, conductor, synthesist and A&R director remembered for playing keyboards for groups such as Instant Funk, Yellow Sunshine, and MFSB and for his own recordings and songwriting. Wansel can be heard throughout the catalog of Kenneth Gamble and Leon Huff's Philadelphia International Records.
