What an incredible piece of songwriting, one of the group's all-time best. After this and the following Concerto album, I'm sure there were many who thought that Deep Purple found their niche in rock music. The fact that they totally discarded that style of music and went on to record music that was pivotal in the development of both progressive rock and heavy metal music is certainly something that nobody saw coming!
Listening to the third album "Deep Purple" Also known as "Deep Purple III" released in June 1969. Was recorded while on tour in multiple small studios booked with little advance notice then edited in the UK. The band was still not popular in the UK. Jon Lord said they could only get 500pounds for a UK performance and 2500pounds for a USA performance. Song by Blackmore & Lord.
Le premier grand classique dans ma vie de melomane. Je n'avais pas 18 ans. Mais je savais que cette musique me montrait la direction a suivre. Une ouverture sur un univers ou sons et sens ne font plus qu'un!
