The Bluff is a five-piece band from Nashville, TN with a classic rock sound and a jam band mentality. Comprised of session players, songwriters, and touring sidemen, the members of The Bluff have played with artists ranging from Old Crow Medicine Show, Alison Krauss, Jack Pearson and Jerry Douglas to George Strait, Jo Dee Messina, and Ashley Monroe, among many others.
They strive to create an energetic and unpredictable live show from a vast assortment of originals, crowd-pleasing covers and deep cuts of groups like The Band, Phish, Tom Petty, Grateful Dead, Little Feat, Allman Brothers, Talking Heads, Paul Simon, Steely Dan, Doobie Brothers, Bob Marley and the Rolling Stones. The Bluff performs regularly at clubs, fraternities, festivals, private parties, corporate events, and weddings all across the country.
