David Hodges is an all-round musician, song-writer and producer.
His most significant role has been as co-writer on Evanescence albums 'Origin' and 'Fallen'. Hodges joined Evanescence in 1998 but left after the completion of 'Fallen', before the band rocketed to global success.
However, Hodges' presence in today's music is still noticable. As well as writing, producing and fronting his own band Trading Yesterday, Hodges has writing and producing credits with Kelly Clarkson, Anastacia and Avril Lavigne (working alongside another ex-Evanescence member, Ben Moody), as well as producing a number of lesser-known artists.
There are solo recordings of Hodges floating around cyber-space, two of which feature Evanescence frontwoman Amy Lee ('Fall Into You' and 'Breathe'). The latter was featured on a faith record distributed by Summit Church in Little Rock, Arkansas.
