We'll buy some drugs and watch a band, then jump in the river holding hands... ♥
This is my favorite track of the album, and the entire Sweet Thing/Candidate/Sweet Thing (reprise) is one of the best things Bowie ever wrote (and that's a big statement).
wow, I remember how life was back then...so different & innocent in many ways...this one brings such a myriad of feelings!

When it's good, it's really good. When it's bad, I go to pieces.
i'm writing here cause it's the middle part ;) one of the most brilliant Bowie masterpieces Sweet Thing/Candidate/Sweet Thing (reprise) <3
I love the way he says "like any other candidate". You almost can see Bowie as a slimy politician sweet talking the protagonist in the song. A great example of how to act through music.
Such a surreal run towards the river...
We'll buy some drugs and watch a band, then jump in the river holding hands... Outstanding. Best Bowie track ever. Diamond Dogs is my favourite release of his too
Hmm, this convinced me that he would have been a fascinating novelist.
...Then jump in the river holding hands
