I'm amazed. They not only reached their usual quality level with "Spectres from the Old World", but also made this record way more mature than any their previous record. Sound somehow strengthened but doesn't seem to lose anything of their essence.
What a great surprise. I had heard Stab Wounds in the past, so I got Venereal Dawn when it came out. But then I didnt listen them for a while, and now Im listening to Seance and, wow, what a great treat! I'll listen to Eidolon later on.
News from Azatoth: Next to his project Eudaimony, there will be something new in the future, with members from Dark Fortress. The band called Ligeia Here's the bio from their official FB-page:" Ligeia has been formed in 2014 by current and former members of German Black Metal band Dark Fortress. Ligeia is a tribute to the glorious days of Swedish metal in the early 90s, when bands such as Katatonia, Tiamat, Gorement, Dissection and others reached their highest peak of creativity."
Uh, right. New DF releases are much better than what Gorgoroth released after Incipit Satan. But I would not compare albums like Ylem with Under The Sign... or Antichrist. Those come from diffrent worlds.
