This is the "legendary" danny k - beat merchant from London England. The original Freetrader, Danny has been spreading his music (and others) via mp3 since 1999 turning up with Silence between the words, the enormously successful "Miss My Touch" and has worked with artists as varied as Sarah Millyard, the Herbaliser, Charlotte Church, Tricky and even Harvey Keitel.
Little is known about who exactly the "legendary" danny k is but there are tenuous links, theories and one or 2 people who know the truth but would prefer not to say. It has recently emerged that a number of other people may be involved in Danny's beautiful beat poems - King Kooba's Charlie Tate for one (just as elusive as Danny!).
In June 2006, K-Radio was launched - a 24/7 streaming beats broadcast playing nothing but fine and sometimes rare independent grooves and beatism. A new album is set for release late next year Nightshift.
