In 2001, Danielle released her debut album "White Monkey". Reviews likened her musical style to Kate Bush, Tori Amos and Portishead.

Danielle is currently recording a second album with legendary producer, Tony Visconti who has worked a lot with David Bowie. Danielle Spencer did a cover of Bowie's Ashes to Ashes.
