Daniel James Seavey (born April 2, 1999) is an American singer-songwriter, musician, and producer. He is 1/5 of the musical group, Why Don't We. In 2015, he appeared in the 14th season of with his rendition of Leonard Cohen's "Hallelujah". Daniel is responsible for writing and producing many songs for the band. In 2022 he released “Can’t We Pretend That We’re Good” as his debut solo single after the band went on hiatus. In 2023 he released his debut solo EP “Dancing In The Dark”.
