Not even sure what to say.. every time I come back to In Ghost Colours I just lose it. The amount of memories and nostalgia is completely overwhelming.. Listening to THOUSANDS of albums over the past decade and a half.. this has cemented itself in a top 25 listing without a doubt.
Bright Like Neon Love is the only one I really love. I think it's the French House influence that gets me, courtesy of Phillipe Zdar who produced the album. It's really sample-based and funky, which their other work isn't. That album basically predicted the rise of "chillwave" IMO
Really looking forward to Cut Copy's set at Outside Lands, along with Big Freedia's set as well! In the meantime I'm playing around with the soundboard on her website, check it out http://www.bigfreedia.com/soundboard/
