Biography

Hailing from Detroit, Michigan, Country Music Recording Artist Crystal Lynn was born on June 25, 1992. At the age of three she started singing her father to sleep, and at eleven, she decided that this is what she wanted to do. Managed by the same folks who brought us LeAnn Rimes and Steve Holy, she has moved to Texas and her star is on the rise in Country Music. A member of the American Federation of Musicians, The Christian Country Music Association, The Motor City Music Foundation, and ASCAP, she was a two category nominee for the 2006 Detroit Music Awards and has been nominated for FIVE in 2007, including Outstanding Country Artist. She has released three full-length CDs, with a fourth in limited release.

The title cut from her third album ''It's More Fun To Be A Girl'' climbed to #37 on the Independent Country Music charts and was one of the most requested on AM and FM radio nationwide, according to PowerSource Magazine in Nashville, TN. This album was produced and recorded in Nashville, utilizing the talents of some of the industry's best known writers (i.e. Willie Nelson, and John Anderson). A proficient guitarist herself, she enjoyed the company of some of the best studio musicians in the country, including Bruce Boutin and J.T. Corenflos. A second song from the same album, ''Broken Branches'' also received radio airtime with tremendous listener response in the Detroit area. A single from her Christmas CD, ''There is a Child'' was released in November, 2005 and was played in heavy rotation nationwide.

For the new CD, Crystal Lynn wrote, composed and arranged over 25 songs. She has performed live in various venues throughout Michigan, Ohio, Kentucky, Tennessee (including legendary Tootsie's in Nashville), Colorado, and Texas, and has a wonderful fan base in Europe and Australia.Hailing from Detroit, Michigan, Country Music Recording Artist Crystal Lynn was born on June 25, 1992.
