This week I will be dedicating the entire 3 hours of the show to my favorite style of metal: Old School Death.

The originators that planted the seeds of the genre like Hellhammer, Bathory, Death, Possessed, Morbid Angel, Napalm Death and Bolt Thrower. The bands that brought the style to the forefront like Entombed, Carcass, Obituary, Deicide, Vader, Suffocation, Grave and Dismember. The obscure that never got the recogonition they deserved such as Goddefied, Depravity, Crypt of Kerberos, Nirvana 2002 (Swe), Demigod, Convulse, Utumno and Excruciate. And the bands of today that keep the flame of true death metal burning like Evocation, Interment, The Chasm, Feast Eternal, Lie in Ruins, Sapremia and DeathevokatioN.

Yet again, it has come to this. I haven't been to a gig in a while, so I need something else to fill my journal with. Now, you can take any musician you desire and place them into your own superband. You can have a maximum of six members.

A little different from last time, but the vein still remains. I envisage this band would play a doom and gothic influenced style of progressive metal.

My choices are for the following reasons. Daniel Gildenlöw brings a unique exprimental songwriting element to the band, plus a spectacular voice that would complement Juha-Pekka's powerful gothic-tinged vox. …
