I can never decide. I'm strongly urged to proclaim NWFT my fave, but then I remember about how much I love Good Apollo I and IKSSE:3, and I'm just like....FUCK! No World For Tomorrow definitely has some of my favorite songs. No World For Tomorrow, Gravemakers and Gunslingers, The Hound of Blood & Rank, Mother Superior, The motherfucking End Complete? Oh lawd!
so underrated, grave makers and gunslingers, justice in murder, radio bye bye, the end complete, the running free. Some of their best songs ever, as a whole not there best but some amazing tracks on here. GA vol 1 and IKSOSE:3 are better as albums but some of their best songs are on here. I love how over the top and grandiose this album is, it's coheed on steroids which is good and bad at points. Still genius.
Actually, no... "Gravemakers" live was horrible, Claud had absolutely no emotion in his voice when he sung the verses, as opposed to the studio v. where he had this great snarl. And the backing female vocalists on Neverender were weak, Chondra Echert was much better. Overall, the nights are the same as the albums - they go from best to worst (not counting YOTBR).
My favorite Coheed album. It seems like I'm the only one who loves this album, and I am a hardcore Coheed fan, been listening since From Fear Through The Eyes of Madness came out. I'd put this first, then either FFTEM or IKKSE3 right after.
I agree with the guy below me, but you have to give credit to more songs that just G&G. TRF, Feathers, MS, and most of the End Complete part, especially parts 3&4, are also pretty great. But the title track, and some of tthe other songs, are terrible.
This, IMHO is the weakest of all the C&C albums. 3 and 4pt1 was really their peak. But the rhythms have really been simplified on this album. You can tell they really miss Josh Eppard....his off kilter beats really made the songs more interesting. Ten Speed from 4pt1 was really a perfect example of how an interesting "off rhythm" can really make a song...This album has none of that. It's straight-forward and rather bland. It tries to be "prog" in its scope, but falls flat. C&C can do WAY better than this. Honorable mention should go to G&G, a stellar track amongst alot of MEH.
Both Good Apollos get a lot of undeserved shit said about them. GA1 was amazing, one of the best albums ever in my opinion, just as good as albums 1 and 2, and this album isn't quite as good as the previous ones but it's still kickass.
mistaged my ass if they had the real name it would just look like their last album name and ppl with get confussed with shit to non - shit plus i cant be fucking typing their whole album name lol...No World For Tomorrow is a good name please keep it
i dont care what ppl think how shit this album is..i mean fair enough their used to heavy coheed but this album is soooooooooo fucking good my 5th favourite album i OWN last 7 songs on the album are amazing so 10/10 and the hound the others are meh. but i love that last 7 bye bye radio i great. I II IV V <33333
I want to say this album sucks but I've only listened to it maybe three times all the way through. Feathers is so damn good, I can't get past it... every time I get to that track I just hit repeat and listen to it for an hour and then switch to a different album.
Gravemakers & Gunslingers, The End Complete, On The Brink, Feathers, The Running Free, Mother Superior, and The Hound (Of Blood And Rank) were great. but this is still nothing compared to their old stuff.
