This album and photography project, CONCRETE FIELDS, is a personal reflection on both growing up in the dreary landscape of Europe’s largest prefab estate Marzahn-Hellersdorf, Berlin, East Germany, and their first musical contact with chamber music as an original duo playing cello and piano in the edgy last decade of the GDR.
