A lot of times, bands with grind elements tend to have songs that are intense but not all that memorable. Cattle Decapitation is great at making songs that kick your ass but the riffs and song structures stick with you.
@Seraphin84 Regret & the grave is IMO their most emblematic song. It contains everything that identifies this band, the melody, the technicality, the grinding relentless rhythms, the outstanding atmosphere, and the pro-animal anti-mankind lyrics, it is also very catchy and memorable.
Travis Ryan is a fucking beast. The raspy semi-cleans on The Anthropocene Extinction add an amazing unique disgustingly brutal touch to this masterpiece. Trying to fit this band into a predefined genre just simply doesn't work. On one hand I wish there was more music like them but on the other hand I know that any imitation would not come close to as great as them.
