Capsolin is a five piece rock machine from Torrance California. Coming from different music scenes and genre preferences, the members Jam out a Bluesy, hangover curing, baby making explosive combination of new rock that leaves young kids scratching their heads and music junkies wanting more. In any case you're going to wonder what just hit you.

Prior knowledge of each other through high school and different shows allowed the members of Capsolin to see each other in their separate projects over the years. A common desire to play new music differently led to an earlier incarnation of capsolin under a different name. In fact there were many names before the members settled on the one they're at now. In early 2008 the members were settled upon and the music began flowing. Each member of the band brings something different to the table, helping the sounds to mesh into what we today know as Capsolin.

PETER started playing guitar when he was in eighth grade due to extreme boredom brought on by living in a city where no one spoke English. Over the years he managed to get better by playing at various churches and with numerous bands. The path to Capsolin was shaded mostly by Within Human Reach, for which Peter played Guitar. Through the years Peter has written stories and poems as well as various songs you will hear from Capsolin.

BACON is the sexiest piece of man to ever hold a bass. He's smooth like butta, and jumpy like jelly beans. He also matches many other delicious food similes and metaphors. We'll have much more on this delightful mystery man soon, but all I gotta say for now is - teh sex.

BILLY started out as a simple overweight seventh grade student when a school singing competition caught his friend's attention. Said friend then proceeded to nag and nag until finally Billy gave in and decided to sing in front of his entire seventh grade class. As he stood up on the stage, stiff as a board, singing When I'm Sixty-Four by The Beatles he realized something. Singing in front of people is some scary crap. 6 years and 4 bands later more experience and technique has been added to the mix. He has finally found his voice as the singer/piano player of Capsolin

MIKE is a level 43 paladin with the Earths'bane broadsword, which we all know has +3 against Orcs and Darklings. Oh, wait, band bio? Let me start over. Mike's been playing guitar for a bit over 10 years now, heavily influenced by the more melodic swings found in the undercurrent of Nirvana songs, the screeching highs of Sonic Youth, and the "how the heck did he…?" of Tom Morello. His sound is based in a very turbulent yet beautiful view on life, music, and poetry, and his and Peter's melodies tend to gravitate around one another naturally. He also likes to climb trees, and enjoys a good piece of beef jerky.

WILLY lives and breathes drums. Inspired by a few key family members to love music at an ealy age, it was only natural to gravitate toward instruments. The love for drums was injected earlier than can be remembered; it just took 15 years for the meeting. The influence comes from the passion of the early 90's when the love for music was solidfied, but inspiration for new beats comes from everything from the timeless classics of Buddy Rich, all the way up to local drummers slammin away at an open bar. Capsolin is the latest outlet for uncontrollabe music to spew from every orphus.
