"A New Day Has Come" is the lead single from Céline Dion's comeback album A New Day Has Come, released on March 11, 2002. The song was written by Aldo Nova and Stephan Moccio and produced by Walter Afanasieff and Nova as a piano-driven ballad. However, the mid-tempo radio remix was co-produced by the Swiss American Federation who are comprised of DJ Christian B and Marc Dold, along with Ric Wake and was released as the lead track. Both versions are included on the album. This was the #1 Adult Contemporary single of 2002, spending 26 weeks at the top of the Billboard AC chart.
