Also hey I don't listen to 4minute ironically. I saw them perform at COEX in 2009. Their debut hadn't even come out yet. :[

Yes thank you Cosmonaut_. Any one thing wouldn't be worth talking about but the fact that it's everything could only be possible to ignore if you were whimsically inbred. The suspicious timeline, the comically awkward missteps, the copy-and-paste posturing, the copy-and-paste music, the copy-and-paste promotional shots...

"Also if it was an emocore band. That's not illegal. And why should they be fake just because they have been in another band before?" Because they completely changed everything about them. I don't just mean the music but their attitude, the way they dress, even saying stuff like "Oasis was the last great British rock band". It is like their record company got hold of them and said "you need to do this, this and this in order to be big rocks and you will look slightly credible while doing so because you'll be bring back "true rock & roll"". Obviously, people change but not to this extent. Everything about Brother screams fake and manufactured.

He was a Canadian music snob who listened ironically to Korean girl bands. She was an excitable German with a penchant for turgid Oasis tribute acts. They had nothing in common... except a forbidden lust which neither could deny. A true 21st century romance for our digital age.

Boy, the only thing what's absurd here is your opinion. Really. I could absolutely deal with it, when it was somehow correct what you're talking about, but you're just talking shit here. Please complain somewhere else about something else. For example about how 4minute don't write their songs by themselves (maybe you'll make some people laugh, isn't that nice, too?). But not here just about PIECES of a band who have been in other bands before which made different music. Because NOBODY cares. Really. Even if they would cover songs and have been an emocore band before under the same name with the same members: Who gives a shit?

I wasn't insulting you. You just missed the point in an absurd way and I didn't know what else to say about it. I don't have any obligation to spoonfeed you the history of the band. If you had been paying attention then this would all be obvious. It's not about anything being illegal, it's about everything they do being contrived, dishonest and pathetic. Deal with it.

Oh, no problem, we can also talk in German, if you want to. Maybe your German is better than my English. I asked you for surces, what's wrong with that? If you talk about "facts" here, you should be able to prove them and others have the right to aks you for this prove. I did research, but didn't find anything about previous bands. But I won't care if they had one. Also if it was an emocore band. That's not illegal. And why should they be fake just because they have been in another band before? Most members of popular bands have been in other bands before, too.

I can't tell if you're missing the point because you want to miss the point or because your English isn't good enough. Anyway, you should try doing some research next time. They used to be called Kill the Arcade. You can watch interviews and see their stupid emo haircuts on Youtube. The band is fake. You're just going to have to deal with it.

I didn't say, 4minutes would be a band. I didn't say they are on the same level. They aren't. There is nothing wrong with Brother's logo. And honestly: People who judge bands because of their logos are embarrassing. Which of their songs is an emo song? Give me the title! And give your sources because of the other stuff. Btw.: If they were emo, so what?

4minute isn't a band. It's a Korean girl group. But yes, I agree that Brother is on the level of 4minute when it comes to whether or not they write their own songs or choose their own clothing. Thanks for that one, very insightful. I guess the only difference is that 4minute were never a wimpy emo band. And 4minute weren't hired by their record label to pretend they were another group. And 4minute have a passable logo.

tsotsa-tsola: What are you talking about? Which song? THAT Band called BROTHER I listen to has more than one song and is totally no fake band. (Btw.: Someone who's listening to stuff like 4minute should shut up when it comes to "bands cooked up by record companies".)

Is this supposed to be funny or something? The name of the band is awful. The logo is awful. The song is awful. And on top of that, the entire thing has all the hallmarks of being completely fake. Was this cooked up by some record company department somewhere? It's like a cynical imitation of a band.

btw, a question to all Britons: is England (and NME in particular) ever gonna say goodbye to the Beatles? I mean, they were great (still are) and all but fkin hell, 50 years have passed. and you still have 4 boys with those haircuts and guitars on the cover, singing pop tunes, yelling they've got balls, attitude and all the rest... "the next biggest band". it's sick. it keeps coming up every single fkng decade.remeber Kasabian, same thing. the question is - WHY? where will it end? Blur & Oasis ripped off the 60s, the 201- rip off Blur and Oasis... what's so big about it?

sounds abit like oasis.. probably because they have the lyrics "love is a time machine" in their song time machine which are the lyrics of "the shock of the lightning" by oasis. guess oasis cant talk when it comes to copying other bands material though..
