  • A Chronology (of a few of my favorite things)

    9 Mar 2007, 01:48 by rose-ncrantz

Here is the timeline of my high school experience:

During the beginning of my freshman year, I was obsessed with Queen. Three highlights of my Queen listening experience: Killer Queen, Good Old-Fashioned Lover Boy, Somebody to Love. I became known for my Queen obsession, it was my (sad) trademark. Until the girl I walked to school with introduced me to Bowling for Soup. Then I evolved, enjoying songs like Surf Colorado, I Don't Wanna Rock, and unsurprisingly Emily. I listened to the sounds of the Vans Warped tour while swapping CDs (with notes attached) with my half-boyfriend of the time, until he introduced me to Weezer. It was possibly one of the best things he could possibly do, and I am very grateful to him. I loved songs like My Name Is Jonas, Buddy Holly and Undone (The Sweater Song). And with that, I end my freshman year, stil iPod-less and lonely.

All I can remember about my sophomore year was R.E.M.. Because I didn't have an iPod…
