Kumiko Takara is great! You can also enjoy her vibes on the albums by "Vincent Atmicus" (a band led by her husband Yasuhiro Yoshigaki). In this band you also find two more members from "Bondage Fruit". Yuji Katsui on violin, and Yoichi Okabe on drums...

bondage fruit ftw. i think I and II are the best albums.. Frost and Fire on III Récit is cool too... and Storm Bird Storm Dreamer and Sono-Bank on IV are cool.. but i don't know V yet.

Yeah, Koenji is quite different to Ruins. I find Bondage Fruit more similar. And I second what pazzive said... check out ROVO, it's an awesome instrumental project. Fun, elegant stuff.
