Biography
Bohinta was an Irish folk band formed in 1992 by Martin Furey that featured his younger sister Áine Furey (son and daughter of Uileann piper Finbar Furey).
The band went through several changes in line-up . Martin Furey first linked up with Robin James Hurt in 1990 and then with Greig Stewart and Dave McCleod. Then, in 1992, Roy Marchbank joined and Bohinta arrived.
In 1994, the line-up became Martin Furey, Áine Furey, Padhrig O'Faraichtain, Gill Hunter, Nigel Walker and Carlene Anglim.
The band released several albums, including "Bohinta" (1996), "Sessions" (1997), and "Belladonna" (2002). At one point, fiddler Carlene Anglim was a member.
