you’re saying this objectively or subjectively? judging by your library, you like those artists a significant amount more than Bob Marley.

I will never trust the musical taste of those who dislike Marley. This man was absolutely enlighted to make the best reggae a human being can achieve in almost any possible aspect, you recognize that when you overcome LEGEND and decide to go deep in his discography... certainly there are at least 40 or more different combinations to make LEGEND again with totally distint songs each time, all absolutely mindblowing. Not in vain this man is still the most recognizable artist when it comes at reggae as a genre that have gave birth such awesome artists like Tosh, Culture Bunny Wailer... and other more actuals but faithful to the purpose of doing good music like Matisyahu.. And still is almost mandatory that is Marley who pops out in the mind when you think of this music, something that doen't happens in rock for example, where you can think of Beatles, Stones or Zeppelin when it comes at THE BEST. Even those who don't listen reggae for an habit admits Marlein his regular listenings habits.

in all honesty he'd been writing and performing with the Wailers since the early 60s, so it's closer to twenty years. but yeah still a great loss to music when this unique and talented artist passed away, who had so much more things to say and express.

I know it's a couple of days late, but R.I.P. Bob Marley. We lost you 40 years ago and we still love & enjoy all the music you left for us. Thank you!
