A theory: This site's membership consists of people who like keeping records of things, and thus favors people with an archival/historically-minded bent, and thus people with an affection for black & white, the color of old things.
He must have the strongest lungs ever. However, you can tell his voice is all damaged from smoking cannabis. He has smoked copious amounts of cannabis and no breathing issues with him. Willie Nelson needed to quit due to breathing issues. So what's Bob's story on how he's able to keep on smoking with no breathing issues? He's close to 80.
Smoking cannabis on its own doesn't damage your lungs. Mixing it with tobacco does. The state of his voice is probably therefore also more due to the amount of cigarettes he's smoked in his life. That and just his general age, and the fact he's never had a very clean and clear voice to start with.
Whatever gawd my point was just that this guy is putting the blame on cannabis for Bob's lung condition, while it's clear that what damaged his lungs is not the cannabis but the cigarettes and tobacco he been smoking since he was a young teenager.
My late father was a fan of Bob Dylan, but he never told me while he was alive. My mom told me he was a fan. He was also a fan of Joan Baez. I didn't I get into Bob Dylan, because of my dad. I found him on my own and I think he's a good musician.
My friends and I from India have put together this website for the occasion of Dylan's 79th birth anniversary as the tribute event had to be called off due to the global lock-down.
So here's a little digital tribute: http://bobdylan.in
