Thus far, this is my favorite Blondie album. Super diverse, jumping from epic string arrangements, new wave, reggae, 20s pop, straight up rock and roll and even rap. A lot of bands WISH their albums were this diverse. Incredible!!
This album is so unfairly judged. Blondie did an excellent job at tackling multiple genres on this album, and it's definitely their most eclectic. I think nay-sayers should shy away of criticizing this album for overall being a departure from the straight-up New Wave/Rock of Parallel Lines or Eat to the Beat. If anything they should be commended for branching out so well. My personal favorite Blondie album.
