I get what you're saying but their tone regarding Max has never been anything other than respectful and kind. if they were throwing insults and creating drama I would 100% agree, but the way they've handled the situation doesn't strike me as childish at all. anyway, it's not really our place to speculate : )

fyi the bassist on the new collab single, zach burba, is the bassist in Mega Bog, in which james krivchenia in the drummer. he's also the bassist for Dear Nora, who you should defo check out if you like big thief. so maybe he'll be the new bassist?

sorry if i came across as judging him/assuming his opinions, i didn't mean that at all! i was just trying to share what i'd heard - i know that in the past adrianne has said that their different stances on gaza have put a strain on the band and it would make sense if it still does now. i'm really glad that they're handling this like adults and not throwing insults or creating drama. :)

Saw them at Red Rocks after waiting in the rain for two hours (it was delayed due to lightning warnings). The storm was so bad, i was worried it was gonna be cancelled for a bit. Anyways, it wasn't, and they proceed to put on the craziest show I've ever seen. Throughout their set, there was still lightning, and during feedback-heavy songs like "Not," it genuinely felt like they were conjuring lightning. Couple that with Red Rocks being an inherently surreal venue and you've got one of the most otherworldly musical experience of my life. PLEASE SEE THESE GUYS IF THEY COME THROUGH YOUR TOWN.

claiming moral high ground bc of the music you listen to isnt a good look. as long as you do see the problems with ur fav artists i say go ahead listen to what u want. but putting celebs on pedestals isnt great to say the least. have a good day tho. adriannes new album is fuckin awesome.
