Hailing from Stoke on Trent , Big Cash Prizes were evidently the result of a band brought up on modern day music. The band mixed together rock and electronic influences, successfully touching the two scenes of music that are currently infiltrating the indie scene. Influences that immediately come to mind, are The Cooper Temple Clause, and Oasis.
'Movement' follows the Cooper's lead in mixing cutting edge rock with electronic sounds, at the same time, showcasing BCP's darker side. The singers distinct aggravated vocals spring connections to a youthful tormented Liam Gallagher and on this track slot in perfectly, over heavy bass and rhythm.
Big Cash Prizes, were certainly a band that wouldn't be out of place on your Monday night Lemaq lineup. If loud guitars are what you love, and rock is what you live for, then look no further.
