3 Nov 2009, 09:59 by Lithium007Mon 2 Nov – Biffy Clyro, Manchester Orchestra, Pulled Apart By Horses
Got to start with a good old "Mon the Biff!"
The mighty Biffy Clyro back in action. Didn't get there early and missed Pulled Apart By Horses, but unfortunately caught some of The Manchester Orchestra who I can only describe as a slightly retarded sounding Arcade Fire
Anyhoo, on to Biffy themselves. Opening with That Golden Rule, then right into Living Is A Problem Because Everything Dies, Biffy were a proper tour de force as they played through an exciting set that included songs from the whole back catalogue. A lot from Puzzle, and a smattering of new tracks, all of which sounded really good, the only slower moments being Machines and new track God & Satan. Some nice stranger tracks I wasn't expecting such as Hero Management and of course, singalong fan favourites 57 and Joy.Discovery.Invention
Brilliant (and sweaty) night had by everyone. Wish I had a ticket for the second night too!
5 Jan 2009, 20:02 by konsugar
Love Lies Bleeding
Это последнее, что создал проект Babylon Zoo, причем трек появился на их странице, как это обычно и бывает: вот щас мы приступили к записи офигительного альбома, а пока послушайте, что у нас уже придумалось хорошего. Но дальше никакого альбома не было.
We Came Here To Die

You know I dreamed about you
For twenty-nine years before I saw you
You know I dreamed about you
I missed you for, for twenty-nine years
If I'm an island then your mind is off of me
If I'm an island then you're the darkest sea
I almost thought you stopped talking to me
Your call came like a wave of relief
I'm such a lucky mess
I just need some rest
And the night you came
You won me all and all
And the better part of everything
Was born to run
I'll make you mine
Keep you apart deep in my heart
Separate from the rest
Where I like you the best
And keep the things you forgot
Suddenly you spread from my hands
Far away you've drummed in my mind
'Cause I want you
It truly is that simple
But you want to go back
It makes my whole world
Crash down just feel so black
You may ask yourself
Is there anyone so alone?
But there's no beep before the dial-tone
When you pick it up to see who called
12 Aug 2008, 14:56 by Blues_BrotherSo, aye, T in the Park was about a month ago, so thought I'd write a little sumin-sumin about. I was not there for Friday, but was there the rest of the weekend. Good times! And I missed a ton of crappy unknown bands that the hardcore indie kids would shout at me for, but I'm heedin for your shitey unknown indie!
First up was Eddy Grant, who had a hit back in like 2001 with Electric Avenue! Apparently he was big in the 70s or some shit! How relevant! Anyway, Baby Come Back and Electric Avenue are tunes and it's hard not to enjoy watching a 60-odd year-old man play a guitar with his penis. One of the dancers repeatedly trying to have sex with him was un-nerving, however.
Next, we went for a swag around because nothing interested us. We bought some alcohol tickets and they gave us several extra for free!
Free beer is the best kind of beer.
18 Feb 2008, 00:07 by SaarelaisetToday I've been listening my last.fm neighbours' radio station. The song, which I noticed liking very much is Biffy Clyro's Machines.
"Cause I’ve started falling apart I’m not savouring life
I’ve forgotten how good it could be to feel alive"
