Biography

One of the best up-and-coming rappers from New York City, BX Menace Frankie is something special.

Born March 16th, 2004, in the Bronx, New York, BX Menace Frankie grew up listening to Hip-Hop/Rap, R&B, Gospel, Pop and Alternative. In his music, he talks about and reflects on his days growing up in the Bronx through the storytelling of many different experiences he had. At 11, he started writing raps, but at 13, he started taking it more seriously. At 14, he released his first song, "Shooters On Deck Freestyle." At the time he lived in a small town called Highland Falls after moving from the Bronx when he was 13. After releasing "Shooters On Deck Freestyle," he released 10 singles leading to the release of his debut mixtape, "Young Menace To Society," which was originally released on SoundCloud on October 31st, 2019, at 15 years old. Young Menace To Society, received positive reviews from those who listened and was a good start from the young rapper who showed hunger and ambition throughout his project.

In the year 2020, BX Menace Frankie dropped 3 projects and one single starting with his EP, "Before The Grind," which he released at 16. Released on March 28th, 2020 (as a part of his "Menace Saturdays," series) and that would be his only release up until July. On July 24th, 2020, he released his single, "24 Hours," as the only lead single for his up and coming EP, "The Night Before The Grind (24 Hours)," which would eventually release August 17th, 2020. His last release would be his EP, "Halloween," which he released October 31st, 2020 as anniversary project for his first mixtape, "Young Menace To Society," Which dropped one year ago that same day.

Heading in 2021, he made his first release of the year on January 18th, with the release of his song, "On My Kickz Remix," featuring A$AP Rocky as a tribute to A$AP Yams and A$AP Mob as a whole. He then followed that up with one his biggest songs of the year so far, "Run It Up," which dropped February 27th of this year. That song would serve to be the first single for his up and coming EP, "2021." He then dropped the second single to his EP (and his 3rd overall on the year), "Demons 2: Drill Ain't Dead," March 5th, and wouldn't drop anything else afterwards till May of 2021. On May 21st, 2021, he dropped his 6 song EP (and his 4th EP overall), "2021," and gained a moderate following off the release of that EP. Going into the summer time, he teased a few drill snippets and dubbed, "Demon Frankie," is back. However he kicked off his summer SZN with his highly anticipated Honorable CNOTE produced song, "Meet The Pole," on July 10th. He then followed that up with his next highly anticipated song, "2-3 Shots Like Sheff (released July 17th, 2021)," which served as a drill tribute to Brooklyn Rapper (and notable NY Drill Pioneer), Sheff G, who spoke to the young rapper earlier that year. After that, the last single of the summer he dropped was, "Nightlife, Parties, and Functions," featuring his friends (and fellow underground rappers), Hoodie Tee (their first collaboration), and J.G., a rapper who was a friend and frequent collaborator of Young Frankie by that point in time of their drop, on July 31st, 2021. Referring back to those collaborations, they had collaborated 4 times, all on J.G.'s songs, "Who I Am, Fxck Out My Face, Overboard, and Off White." Aside from those, the 3 songs BX Menace Frankie had dropped during the summer time all ended up on his 7 song summer EP, "Menace Summer, Vol. 1," which dropped August 11th, 2021 (his 5th EP). After his summer run, he would then gear up to drop his 2nd mixtape and overall 7th project (at the time), “Young Menace To Society II: The Menace Returns,” sequel to his first mixtape, “Young Menace To Society.” To kick off the rollout, he released the first single from the mixtape, “Top 5,” on September 17th, 2021. He then released the second single from the tape, “In The Mirror,” on October 23rd, 2021. And to finish off the rollout, he released his third single, “In a Bag (Merciless Mercenary),” on October 29th, 2021. A month later,” Young Menace To Society II: The Menace Returns,” on November 26th, 2021. The mixtape went on to be one of his best releases that year and even got 100 streams within the first hour of its release on Spotify alone.

Coming off of a strong 2021 run, in 2022, the young rapper didn’t release much compared to the previous year. He started off the year releasing snippets, as the start of a rollout for his deluxe tape, “Young Menace To Society 2.5.” He released snippets for songs like, “Pray 4 Me,” and “Demons 3: For The Members.” On February 5th, 2022, he released the first single from the deluxe tape, “Sick Days,” his second song with his friend Hoodie Tee. Him and Tee would go on to also release two more songs that month (4U & Bestie) on Tee’s debut mixtape, Grey Hearts. Frankie also served as a creative consultant and executive producer on the mixtape by helping Tee come up with the name and cover art for the mixtape. At the end of February, Frankie would start to tease the next single for YMTS 2.5, “DC The Menace,” a tribute to one of his favorite rappers, DC The Don. On April 10th, 2022, he would drop the highly anticipated song, and it became one of his most streamed songs to date. That same month, he would also be featured on his friend and frequent collaborator, J.G.’s song, “Get To It,” on J.G.’s EP, “Payback.” In May, 2022, he decided to shelf the rollout for YMTS 2.5 in favor of working on his 3rd mixtape, “2022: The Takeover,” a sequel to his EP, “2021: New Beginnings.” To kick off the announcement of this new project, he released the first single of the rollout, “Cold Day In Hell,” on June 11th, 2022. He then followed up that release with the second single of the rollout, “Ps & Qs.” Ps & Qs became another successful single for the rapper as he debuted it after his first performance on August 15th, 2022. For his first performance, he performed at, “Now and Then NYC,” in Brooklyn, NY, and debuted a new unreleased song called, “Different League.” Different League was previewed earlier in the year as a song for YMTS 2.5. A month later, he would go onto release the 3rd single of the rollout, “Preseason,” on September 30th. Soon after, 2 weeks later, “Different League,” would finally get it’s release as a single on October 14th, 2022, and proved to be another great single for the young rapper. He would go on to not release another single until January, 2023 but, in the meantime he did a mini feature run with his friends appearing on 5 of their songs. These songs included 3 singles from J.G. (Cartier Wrist , I’m Ready , and Turnt) and a feature appearance on his mixtape, “Self Made,” on the song, “Conflict.” He also made an appearance on the song, “Blood:Baby:Mama,” by 90 Shotback, his first collaboration with the artist.

After having a somewhat, quiet year in terms of his total releases, BX Menace Frankie came back swinging to start the new year of 2023. On January 24th, the young rapper released a new snippet for his eventual first single of the year, "New Years Freestyle," and also announced his first project of the year, "Days Before The Takeover." Also, on the same day on his Instagram Story, he proclaimed that he would, "drop like 5 projects this year," as, "Can't no one stop me but me from bein the best." 3 days later, on January 27th, the song would finally be released and it would serve as his first single of the year. A week later on February 3rd, he released his 6th EP and overall 8th project, "Days Before The Takeover (as previously mentioned)." It would be the precursor to his upcoming 3rd Mixtape, "2022: The Takeover," which he announced last year in June, 2022. Continuing the rollout for his 3rd mixtape, he released his second single of the year, "Who Better Than We (Freestyle)," produced by his friend, Sept's Secret, on February 17th. This would serve as the first single for the streaming service, re-release edition of his 4th EP and 5th overall project, "2021: New Beginnings," and the 3rd collaboration between the duo. Frankie has been previously featured on two of Sept's Secret's songs, "Diamonds & Fire," and, "Houston Freestyle." On February 24th, he re-released the predecessor of his 3rd mixtape, 2022, "2021: New Beginnings," a remastered version of his original 4th EP, and 5th project. With this re-release, he re-recorded the original songs and added 2 bonus songs to the tracklist as compensation for the removal of Demons 2 (for sample clearance issues). The 2 bonus tracks he added were, the previously mentioned, second single of the year, "Who Better Than We (Freestyle)," and, "Back In My Bag." After releasing his second project on the year, he would release his third single of the year, and the final single following the release of his 3rd mixtape, "One and The Same." The song would be a joint collaboration featuring his two friends and frequent collaborators, J.G. and Hoodie Tee, that was released the day after the young rapper's 19th birthday, on March 17th. 2 days later, on March 19th, BX Menace Frankie released his highly anticipated 3rd full length mixtape, "2022: The Takeover." The 14 song, 40 minute, cohesive mixtape released on March 19th, in dedication to his brother, Justin's 19th birthday. Frankie would go on to say, "this is my best project," about the project at the time, as he diversified himself a little with a mix of Melodic and hard hitting flows, that go hand in hand with his introspective and storytelling lyricism.
