isn't it interesting how audioslave and soundgarden's names are opposites? like i've always noticed this. one is a self proclaimed slave to their music while the other could be taken to mean that they cultivate and grow their songs into something greater. idk, i've just always noticed how their names correlate with each other.

I never got the animosity for Audioslave. They made meaty, back to basics rock & roll and there's nothing wrong with that at all. Hard to escape the monolithic shadows of RATM and Soundgarden, but what Audioslave made was really damn solid in its own right.

По звучанию и особенно гитарным примочкам пожалуй, самый интересный проект их вокалиста. Подвело отсутствие в багаже хотя бы одного хита на все времена, какой имелся у Soundgarden и даже у сольного Корнелла.

For so long I hoped for something new from Audioslave... But the wait is over now and it's still hard to believe. I was lucky to have seen Chris playing with Soundgarden in 2014. All left to do right now is listen to Temple of The Dog, I guess.
