There are two artists with the name Atropine.
The first Atropine was founded as a side-project to the Oslo-based EBM-group Anstalt in 1996 to explore the harsher side of the genre. The project was largely disbanded in 2002, but band-members Alx Jarlev and Cthulberg are still functioning as a group under various aliases including the retro-industrial project Pogrom Synod. Recently the archives are being visited so new material may materialize.
Planned but never released Atropine albums included "Master Raze" (2001), "Angels Pass By Open Sewers" (1996) and "Sudden Surgeries" (1995). Atropine collaborated extensively with fellow Norwegians Anax Imperator and The Order of the Solar Temple (aka The Order) as well as Son Tarjeiav for live shows and cameraderie across the genres.
The second one is a Belgian (Flemish) screamo/hardcore band. To date, they have released two demos. The first one was called Dahlia, and was released in 2007. The second one is called Ilicit, and was released 24th of July 2008 at their release party in jh Phoenix in Westerlo.
