Astronaut Project is an alternative electro indie band created by Alberto Zegarra. The first self-titled album "Astronaut Project" was released in 2015 featuring the single "Night", which received good reviews and was included in national and international compilations such as Red Bull Panamerika (Mexico), Indie Rock Cafe (USA), etc.
In the same year Astronaut Project made their first international tour to Mexico where they played for two weeks in the cities DF, Guadalajara, Puebla and Cuernavaca.
In 2016 they played several concerts in Peru and released a new song with a video called "Sueños de Cristal" which meant the advancement of their second production called "Dreams" that in 2017 would come to light. In that year they were invited to play at the "Primavera Sound Festival" of Barcelona, one of the biggest music festivals in Europe they also added a show in Paris, France.
In 2018 Astronaut Project opened shows for the bands "El Mató un Policía Motorizado" (Argentina) and Protistas (Chile). After that they made their third international tour traveling to Uruguay to be part of Festival Montevideo Capital Emergente and then continue in Argentina to play in several bars of Buenos Aires.
Astronaut Project is promoting its new video clip "Reptilian Song" directed by Percy Céspedez, recognized Grammy nominated director and winner of multiple MTV awards.
