Maine, United States
Anvil Smashers are a Maine-based improvisational music trio. The group began in 2014, with cousins Ella, Rowan, and Lucien creating simple songs with GarageBand tools. They began making their own music in 2015 with Jiggy, a series of pseudo-rap freestyles and odd acapella tunes. Their first album to make its way to streaming services was Made of Dust in April 2018, followed by Let Your Hands Make a House in May. They released their first album in 5 months, Longitude is Gratitude, on June 29, along with Selected Works 2016-2017 (Part 1), a compilation of songs from older albums. They released a short EP titled Gay and Mean on July 11.
