The band was founded in 2002 by its original members Boyan Gochev (bass), Georgi Vasilev (guitar) and Martin Kondov (vocals) in Haskovo (Bulgaria). Some months later, after a long strenuous search for the proper drummer, Mariyan Gordelev joined the group, giving the final form to the band until 2003. This way, the founders of the band, today known as Angerpoint, had a few live performances, presenting mainly new metal style.
