The quintet was formed in the late 1990s by graduates of the Royal College of Music and the Royal Academy of Music in London. Since then the ensemble has enjoyed a busy schedule of recitals held in venues across Britain and Europe. Alberti Brass are: Paul Sharp & Simon Munday (trumpets), Adam Walters (Horn), David Whitehouse (trombone) and Peter Smith (tuba).
