Belgian singer and lyricist that had success in the sixties under the name Ely Tchenko at the age of 16 with the song "Frédérica" (later a hit for Nicoletta). His later work included tracks in his native Walloon dialect. In addition to his own releases he also created a publishing company and was one of the founding members of the Franc'Amour label.
In late 2014 he released the album "Hors format" and started gigging again in Belgium.
