Alaina Castillo (born November 16, 2000) is an American singer/songwriter from Houston, TX. She has gained massive renown for her original vocal covers of popular songs and posting her own original songs. She has over 850,000 subscribers on her YouTube channel. She released “i don’t think i love you anymore,” on October 18th, 2019. “i don’t think i love you anymore” is the first single from her 6-track debut EP, “antisocial butterfly,” which was released November 15th, 2019. "no importa" served as the second single from her debut EP. Castillo went on tour in December 2019 to support the release of her debut EP.

At the beginning of 2020, Alaina announced her new standalone singles, "valentine's day" and "oceans waves" which were released January 24th and March 6th, 2020, respectively. Castillo released her third single of 2020 and the first single from her second EP on March 27th, 2020. With her interview with NME, Castillo announced her second EP, "the voicenotes," would be released April 24th, 2020. The EP contains 4-tracks which are 'just a boy,' 'pass you by,' 'sad girl,' and 'voicenote.' Castillo released a Spanish version of her second EP, the voicenotes, on May 22nd 2020. Throughout the rest of 2020, Castillo released standalone singles "tonight," "párate" and "wishlist."

Castillo expressed her wish to release her debut album in 2021.She released the single "stfu (i got u)" on February 12th and second single "indica" on March 26th, 2021 from her debut album "parallel universe." Part 1 of her debut album was released May 14th, with the second part coming at a later date. Castillo is going on tour in November of 2021 to support the release of her debut album.
