“Strata” is a new single release grown out of a collaboration with artists of the young generation of traditional musicians in Seoul. Akimbo has recorded a variety of instruments played in experimental ways, using his library to craft new visions of Korean sounds. This track was inspired from the Gqom music of South Africa; musically translated with Korean traditional drums and Pansori vocals. Seoul producer PPUL on the big bad remix!
