I'd go for Unbreakable, actually. It does a good job tying all the elements of the band together. Find out what era, if any, you dig ,go after the corresponding album and pick up the new one while you're at it to see if you're a fan of them without McCollum. If you like In Spades, you just opened yourself up to a decade of Twilight Singers material too.
Really enjoyed Afghan Whigs performance at Toronto's Riot Fest. Check out some pics of mud and some words on the performance: http://www.oneintenwords.com/2014/09/riot-fest-2014-day-1-band-7-afghan-whigs.html Hopefully, I'll get pics of the band next time around.
Algiers was much, much better than I even dared hope for! Absolutely fantastic track, perfect ending, Dulli's vocals are spot on as always - all in all, a track that carries some high expectations with it for the rest of the album, this being the standard it set!
