White Rainbow is a moniker used by Forkner for his project which focuses on ambient music as well as audio-visual installation and performance art. White Rainbow's music is heavily influenced by minimalism, most notably the work of Terry Riley and La Monte Young, as well as psychedelic music and art.
In September of 2005, he performed ambient music and video art inside his "Full Spectrum Vibrational Healing Center" for 10 consecutive days as part of the Portland Institute for Contemporary Art's Time Based Arts Festival. A five-CD, one-DVD box set of Forkner's music and video collaborations was released in January of 2006 on Portland's Marriage Records.
